Panasonic P703iμ – another slimmest 3G phone- Review

Another FOMA phone of the 703-series has been introduced by NTT DoCoMo – the P703iμ by Panasonic. Like the N703iμ it is the slimmest W-CDMA clamshell phone (11.4 mm).

The filling of the P703iμ (screen savers, melodies, menu design) was designed by the London designer’s group TOMATO. The shell is made of stainless steel, so the phone looks luxurious.

The short technical specs of the FOMA P703iμ:

  • Dimensions: 103x49x11.4 mm
  • Weight: 98 g
  • Main display: 2.2”, 240x320 pixels, TFT, 260K colors
  • External display: some 0.4” diagonal, 56x12 pixels, monochrome (STN)
  • External memory: microSD storage cards
  • External camera: 1.3-megapixel, CMOS
  • Internal camera: 110 kpixel, CMOS
  • SD audio player.

Bluetrek Metal Review - Mobile Accessories

Look and feel

Bluetrek has taken a minimalist approach and the results are a beautifully chic headset. Despite weighing in at just 5.5g, the Bluetrek Metal is sturdy enough to take the odd bang.

Ease of use

Due in part to the lack of features, the Bluetrek Metal is a cinch to get to grips with. With only a call/end button and two volume keys ideally located on the top of the headset, they do exactly what you’d expect of them.

Features

No real features to speak of other than auto-connect, which re-pairs the Bluetrek Metal with your phone should the two become more than 10 metres away from each other.

Performance

Call quality was fine and the auto-connect occasionally needed some prompting by pressing the call/end button.

Battery life

A decent battery life of 300 minutes’ talktime and 168 hours’ standby.

Nokia N95 Mobiles Phone Reviews

The Nokia N95, the only smartphone to come close to rivaling the iPhone, has called in reinforcements in its battle with the Jesus phone. The new Nokia N95 ($750; Q4 2007) comes in an all-black design with 8GB of built-in storage and a new luminous 2.8-inch QVGA display. Add that to its predecessor's killer features — a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, GPS, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and its 2-way slide keyboard — and you have one hell of a device. And you thought the iPhone was expensive.
